STOP PRESS...
March 2020 saw the opening of my first curated exhibition Photographing Views of Northern England (1890-1990). A big thank you to Dr. Keith W. Roberts for supplying some of his images from the E Chámbre Hardman collection as well as Matthew Watson and the Bolton Museum Team, Sam Johnson, Professor Bob Snape, Tyrone Anderson, Roxana Allison, Jenny Karling, Open Eye Gallery and Side Gallery, Newcastle without whose help this would not have been possible. The exhibition represents pieces from international photographers, many of whom were researched in my PhD. The Show is on at Bolton Museum Art Gallery till 24th June 2020.

Dr. Ian Glover has been a professional photographer for over 38 years and an academic for 22 years.
He has exhibited nationally since 1991 in over 20 major exhibitions, published articles in over 20 photographic and associated journals and magazines including The British Journal of Photography, World Architecture and AG Magazine. He has won 9 project funding grants and has been engaged as a photographic consultant for major historical photographic exhibitions.
In 2012 The International Photographic Awards (IPA) Highly Commended; Ian's Kitchen Table Project in the Professional Fine Art Category.
Ian completed his PhD in 2019
